Warriors' Drummond Greene enjoys Jaylen Brown, Celtics after winning 2022 NBA Super Finals
On Thursday, the Warriors defeated the Celtics in Game 6 of the 2022 NBA Finals to capture their fourth championship in eight seasons.
Green had his ups and downs in the series, but he ended on a high note with 12 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, two steals and two blocks in the clinching game
Early on Friday, Green quite clearly mocked Celtics star Jaylen Brown with the following tweet:
Golden State isn't even 24 hours removed from winning the title, but the four-time All-Star has wasted no time rubbing salt in Boston's fresh wounds
After the Celtics improved to 26-25 with a win over the Pelicans during the 2021-22 regular season, Brown tweeted, "The energy is about to shift.
That marked the turning point for Boston, as it went 25-6 the rest of the way to finish with the second-best record in the Eastern
Conference and set the stage for a run to the Finals. Brown's tweet became a rallying cry of sorts for the Celtics in the second half of the season
Green also shared a video that ESPN posted of him wearing all black ahead of Game 6, saying his outfit "was for a funeral."
As if that wasn't enough, Green added his own touch to Boston's "It's all about 18" shirt, which, of course, referenced the franchise's pursuit of banner No. 18.
